| Odlingen är en del av Alnarps egendom på den skånska slätten med inriktning mot slättjordbruk med sockerbetor, höstvete och korn. Vallodling ingår eftersom den konventionella produktionsdelen har djur. Det ekologiska odlingssystemet hade från början en 4-årig växtföljd med klövervall, sockerbetor eller grönsaker följt av 2 år med stråsäd. Det sista året innehöll vallinsådd. Växtföljden är idag beroende av vilka forskningsprojekt som finns för tillfället. Växtföljden är: år 1 vall I; år 2 vall II; år 3 sockerbetor, grönsaker och fältförsök; år 4 spannmål och år 5 spannmål med insådd. Ungefärlig grödfördelning är: vall 8 ha, stråsäd 8 ha, försök inklusive sockerbetor och grönsaker cirka 4 ha. Vall används för rötning till biogas. Kompost från hushållsavfall... |

| Bollerup, Önnestad och Östra Ljungby är tre naturbruksgymnasier i Skåne där det sedan 1989 pågår ett långliggande basprojekt, ”Miljövänliga och uthålliga odlingsformer”, med syfte att studera konventionella och ekologiska odlingssystem. Projektet består av två viktiga delar. En del avser att bidra med faktaunderlag i debatten om vad som är långsiktigt hållbara och miljövänliga odlingssystem. Vid utvecklingen av de ekologiska systemen finns ambitionen att finna samband mellan växtförädling, näringstillförsel och livsmedlens kvalitet. Målsättningen är att kunna behålla de olika ekologiska inriktningarna, där det biodynamiska systemet med bl.a. hantering av gödselkompost är av särskilt intresse. | Centre d'expérimentation en agriculture biologique ayant pour missions l'acquisition de références techniques dans le domaine des grandes cultures biologiques. La mission première est de fournir des conseils techniques aux producteurs. Les essais sont réalisés sur une exploitation de 53 ha converti en AB en 1999. Les sols sont du type des terreforts argilo-calcaire. Les essais portent sur le tri variétal (blé tendre et autres céréales, protéagineux, soja), essai malherbologie, essai fertilité et fertilisation. |

| L'impianto è composto da un'attrezzatura per il congelamento rapido e la successiva conservazione a -30°C. Inoltre è installata una cella di conservazione refrigerata a +4°C. Le attrezzature sono montate su autocarro Daily Iveco in modo che possano essere trasportate sul luogo di utilizzo. Le celle di conservazione a -30°C e a +4°C funzionano anche durante il viaggio in modo da assicurare la continuità della catena del freddo. |

| Long-term organic fruit tree production trials have been carried out since 1994 in the INRA (National Institute for Agricultural Research) Gotheron experimental station. The aim was: (i) to identify and analyse the key problems (mainly related to pest control and soil fertility) for two perennial crops, apple and peach; and (ii) to assess the effect of organic production on the orchard performance and perenniality, and on its arthropod community. |

| In 1974, the Swiss Federal Office of Agriculture (BLW) charged the former Federal Research Station for Agricultural Chemistry and Hygiene of Environment (FAC, Bern-Liebefeld) to set up a field trial in collaboration with the FiBL in order to compare the performance of organic farming systems.When FAC-Liebefeld was shut down, the Swiss Federal Research Station for Agroecology and Agriculture (FAL-Reckenholz) took over the responsibility for the DOK trial in close cooperation with FiBL. | 25 ha field vegetables and cereals. Stockless rotation based on potatoes, brassicas, cereals, fertility building legumes. Fully organic since 2001. As well as being a commercial and demonstration farm, Coswinsawsin also provides the venue for many of the controlled field trials conducted by the Organic Studies Centre. For example, recently there have been trials comparing a range of novel legume crops as well as variety testing and spacing trials of both organic cauliflower and potato crops. At the Rosewarne Campus also glasshouse and laboratory resaerch facilities exist. The Organic Study Centre runs on-farm trials, monitoring and technology transfer programmes throughout Cornwall in SW England. |
